Which Kilimanjaro Route Is Right for Me?
Answer four questions about your time, experience and priorities. We match them against each route's length, acclimatisation, scenery, crowds and accommodation, and explain every suggestion.
How the route finder works
Tell us how many days you have, your experience and what matters most. We match your answers against each route's length, acclimatisation profile, scenery, trail traffic, accommodation and price, and explain every recommendation.
How does the route finder work?
The finder uses fixed rules, not guesswork. It removes routes that cannot be climbed in the number of days you have, then ranks the rest by how well they match your experience and what you care about most: the best chance of reaching the summit, scenery, fewer people or comfort. Every result shows the reasons it was suggested and anything worth knowing before you choose it.
It is a starting point. Tell us about your group and dates and our team can recommend a specific itinerary.
Frequently asked questions
How many days should I choose?
Seven or eight days suits most people. Fewer days mean faster height gain and a higher risk of altitude sickness. If you can spare the time, a longer itinerary is the best way to improve your chances.
